AR-Enabled Interactive Business Card
This project reimagines the traditional business card as an immersive digital experience. Designed as a physical card with a QR code, it bridges print and augmented reality by allowing users to scan and access an interactive AR version of the card. The goal was to transform a static networking tool into a dynamic, memorable interaction.
The visual design of the card uses a bold black and yellow color palette to create strong contrast and immediate visual impact. Clean typography and iconography ensure clarity, while the circular photo frame and structured layout establish hierarchy and professionalism. The QR code is intentionally integrated as a central interactive element rather than an afterthought, signaling innovation and curiosity.
When scanned, the QR code leads to an AR platform where the business card comes to life. Users can view my 3D avatar, explore interactive elements, and directly access my professional links. This layered interaction enhances engagement and extends the user journey beyond the physical medium. Instead of simply reading contact details, viewers experience a digital identity presentation.
This project explores the intersection of interaction design, spatial experience, and personal branding. It demonstrates how emerging technologies like AR can elevate everyday objects into meaningful touchpoints. By combining graphic design principles with immersive interaction, the card reflects my identity as an interaction designer—someone who designs not just visuals, but experiences.
Overall, this AR business card highlights my interest in blending physical and digital interfaces to create memorable, future-forward networking solutions.
